Skeletons in the Closet started with a passion - to find out more about who we were and who we came from.

After moving to Canada, the urge to find out more about my extensive family grew. As a child, we were told by my Papa I think, that we were related to the infamous Rob Roy McGregor, which made me very curious and decide to start looking at our ancestry. With the help of my Aunty I was able start building my first Family Tree. It was a daunting task that has taken over 30 years of research and sleuthing to get where I am today,

I am a Business Analyst with a background in research and would like to use my experience (and patience) to help others.

To further help my clients, I am now enrolled in a Genealogy Certification course with the National Institute of Genealogical Studies, specialising in Scottish Records.  The certification program consists of 40 courses including specialised Scottish courses, Methodology and Palaeography (the study of old handwriting).
