How to Grow Your Tree
We offer various options to help you grow your Family Tree.
During the cultivation of your tree, we will keep be in touch with you often as it will be necessary at times to ask question and gather more information from you. Providing us with as much information as you can will help to bring you results faster and with greater accuracy.
Family Tree growing can be a slow process - it all depends on the information that is available to us. The time to grow your tree will vary depending on many different factors including but not limited to: basic information given, country, availability of record.
Planting the Seed
Start growing your tree by planting a seed! Give us some basic information about your family and we will start growing your Family Tree. You will then have the option to continue on and grow a full tree or just a few branches.
Planting the Seed Option includes:
- Start cultivating the roots of your tree by providing, where possible, your grandparents and great grand-parents.
- If available, provide you with copies of Birth, Death and Marriage certificates.
- Set you up on your choice of Family Tree websites (The cost of subscriptions to these sites will not be covered in the price of this options).
- GED file sent to you by email
A Full Branch
Once your tree has established its roots, branches begin to grow and that's where the fun starts!
You can choose from the following family branches:
- Paternal Grandfather
- Paternal Grandmother
- Maternal Grandfather
- Maternal Grandmother
Full Branch Option includes:
- Grow one branch of your tree - either the Paternal OR Maternal side of the family including all Uncles and Aunts going back as far as records allow.
- GED file send to you by email
- If available, we will provide you with copies of Birth, Death and Marriage certificates for Grandparents.
- Add on some leaves to your branch and we will provide information on siblings and children of your grandparents of the branch you choose. Siblings and children's certificates are Add-ons (see Leaves, below)
The Forest
This is the most extensive of the three options.
The Forest Option includes:
- Both Paternal and Maternal grandparents of the family - we will provide as many generations as possible. If 6 generations are found, that's 64 people!
-
We will include Uncles and Aunts going back as far as we can find and include all the above, plus up to 10 Birth, Marriage or death certificates. Extra certificates will be considered an Add-on (see Leaves, below).
